branding
Supplying a a range of products and apparel, there are naturally several ways to brand.
We offering various branding options including, screen and pad printing, embroidery, embossing, laser engraving and printed transfers.
Below is a few of our branding options that we use for both apparel and promotional products.
Screen Printing
Large blocks of colour or very fine line work and text can be printed with great detail.Spot Colour inks are very vivid and opaque, so they will print well on both light and dark colours without the need for a white under base on cotton based products.
Direct screen printing
Direct Screen printing is achieved by forcing ink through a fine mesh screen with a squeegee onto the product and is ideal for branding tote bags with a jute, cotton or calico base. The bag will be placed on a conveyor belt, through a dryer which then cures the garment.
screen print transfers
We find this process is great for hard to print items, like tricky positions on bags. Its also great for caps & hats, when the logo or design is too detailed for Embroidery. Also for poylester or cotton blend garments and waterproof jackets.
Sublimation Print
In this process we digitally print the entire fabric panels of garments before they are manufactured. The process only works on 100% polyester fabrics, so is mostly used for sports uniforms, although there are a range of other uses.
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving produces a permanent natural finish using a laser to mark the product. Different materials produce different effects when engraved so to avoid uncertainty pre-production samples are recommended. Can produce variable data including individual names.
Moudling
Moulding is generally used with soft PVC in multiple colours and shapes. This allows you to create a unique and individualised promotional product. It is often used with USB's and keyrings.
digital print label
Digital adhesive labels are used to brand products that cannot be branded with any other method. They are printed with a digital printing press and applied to the product. Ideal for producing vivid full colour images as well as spot colour branding. The branding can bleed off the edges of the label.
embroidery
Embroidery works best on heavier weight items or fabrics with good stability, ideally suited for Jackets, Caps, Beanies, Bags, Hoodies & Business Shirts. It is not recommended for light weight or cotton and spandex blend t-shirts.
flat bed screen printing
Screen printing is achieved by forcing ink through a fine mesh screen with a squeegee onto the product and is ideal for branding flat or cylindrical objects. Large print areas are possible on both flat and cylindrical products. Ideal for large solid areas of colour.
Felt Applique
Felt applique is great for Leavers Hoodies and Jackets. Felt panels are laser cut, then layered and stitched to create a 3d-like image. As the material used is felt, it gives the design a great looking Matte finish. This process works best if the design is a thick, simple design.
Vinyl Cut Transfers
This method is most commonly used for individual names and sports numbers, where individual Screen Prints would not be cost effective. It is also useful for text or basic designs, when only a very small number are required.
Supa Sub Applique
Digital adhesive labels are used to brand products that cannot be branded with any other method. They are printed with a digital printing press and applied to the product. Ideal for producing vivid full colour images as well as spot colour branding.
Debossing
Debossing is produced by pressing a hot engraved metal plate into the surface of a product with a lot of pressure. This produces a permanent image below the products surface. The branding becomes part of the product and is permanent.
resin coated finish
Resin coated finish is produced by printing the artwork onto a vinyl material with strong adhesive on the reverse. The branded area is coated with a crystal clear resin which is allowed to dry. Once dry, the finished decal is applied to the product and the adhesive forms a permanent bond.
Metallic screen Printing
Metallic screen printing is a brilliant option for promotional purposes and also for fashion related designs and clients. It can be used on a wide variety of clothing and promotional items. Metallic Inks give you a subtle, unfinished sheen without the reflective shine of foil.
DECO Press
This is a suedette patch - more durable than suede. The fabric has a water-repellent like quality that makes it safe and easy to clean. It has stitched boarder to accentuate your laser etched design. These versatile emblems are an excellent finish for decorating apparel, bags, caps, beanies.
SupaColour transfers
SupaColour is a revolutionary new way of decorating promotional products and apparel. Smooth gradient profiles and pixelsharp photographic images are other strong points of the Supacolour process. Good for fine detail and small text.
Digital Transfers
Digital Transfer printing is great for capturing highly detailed or photographic images. Digital Transfers are essentially the same as Vinyl Cut Transfers except that the vinyl gets digitally printed as well as being cut.
PAD Print
Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer an image to a product from a laser etched printing plate. It is one of the most popular and affordable ways of branding promotional products due to its ability to reproduce images on uneven or curved products.
Foiling
Foiling is the application of pigment or metallic foil, often gold or silver, to paper where a heated die is stamped onto the foil, making it adhere to the surface leaving the design of the die on the paper. Foil stamping can be combined with embossing to create a more striking 3D image.
